Play Therapy

Play Therapy is a natural way for a child to communicate with their counselor and express thoughts and feelings and explore experiences and behavior. A child as young as four years old is welcome at Blumrich Counseling. The issues that can be resolved through play can be almost any issue that might effect a child. A child is welcomed into a prepared play setting and given art and drawing tools, carefully selected play materials, and a sand tray with miniatures. Sand tray therapy is often used in conjunction with play therapy to explore a child's world.
